Misha Nonoo Reveals Her Stunning Wedding Dress on Instagram
After getting engaged this past February, fashion designer Misha Nonoo and millionaire entrepreneur Michael Hess tied the knot in September. Here's everything we know about their wedding.
Nonoo designed her own dress.
The fashion designer recently shared photos of her gown in Instagram, noting that it was "such a special process" to make the dress. "In the end, we selected a hand embroidered guipure lace on laser cut silk organza embroidered by a Swiss family-run mill established in 1904," Nonoo explained. "We finished the piece with a 10 meter long silk tulle veil."

The celebration took place in Rome.
The happy couple chose to have a destination wedding in Italy. Nonoo and Hess selected Villa Aurelia, a 17th century edifice in the heart of Rome, as the venue.
Royals were in attendance.
Paparazzi spotted Meghan Markle and Prince Harry arriving at the venue, with Meghan wearing a stunning semi-sheer dress.
It's hardly surprising that they'd be on the guest list, as Meghan has long been friends with Nonoo; the designer is even rumored to have set her up with Harry. Just recently, the Duchess enlisted Nonoo's help in creating a capsule collection to benefit her patronage, Smart Works. "There is no way that Meghan wouldn’t be at Misha’s wedding—no way at all," a source told Page Six.
But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex weren't royals at the party: Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are also in attendance. The sisters also have a history with Nonoo; most recently, Eugenie helped fête the designer's fashion week pop-up.
Non-royal celebrities were on the guest list, too.
Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Karlie Kloss, Joshua Kusher and James Corden all made it to Rome to fête Nonoo and Hess.
