It doesn’t seem like there is any truth in the rumors that Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle, 42, could potentially be moving back to the U.K. and reconciling with Prince William, 41, and Kate Middleton, 41, as new reports are suggesting that they are still house hunting in Malibu!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who officially had to move out of their U.K. residence, Frogmore Cottage, in July – have been living in Montecito, California for three years, with stars like Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres as their neighbors. However, according to reports, they are now “considering” a move to Malibu, with a source telling Us Weekly last month that although “they love their life” in Montecito, “it feels a bit remote and removed from the city.”

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Could Be Moving To Malibu

The former Suits actress grew up on the West Coast and reportedly visited Malibu "often," according to Us Weekly's source, which is why the location may hold a special place in her heart. "She loves being by the beach, which is why she and Harry decided to move to Montecito," the insider added.

The source confirmed that "nothing has been decided yet," but moving to somewhere like Malibu is "definitely on their radar." A second source explained to the pub last month that Harry and Meghan "fell in love with the area" after spending some time there during the summer, which then led to them "casually house hunting there."

According to newer reports this month, Prince Harry and Meghan are taking their house hunting in Malibu very seriously at the moment, with a source telling TMZ that they spent part of their Labor Day weekend touring an $8M plot of land in Malibu, which sits above the famous Pacific Coast Highway and overlooks Broad Beach.

TMZ wrote that the Sussexes looked at a super-secluded estate that's almost six acres, and the foundation is laid for a 10,000-square-foot main residence. It reportedly already features a guard house at the front of the property, which we know they will be happy about since security is a big thing for them, as well as a pool.

Why Did Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Move To Montecito?

The Sussexes' potential move to Malibu with their two children Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, doesn’t mean that they aren’t happy with their life in Montecito, which has also held a special place in Meghan's heart for many years prior to their move there.

"Meghan visited Montecito in her teens and fell in love with the picturesque scenery and stunning architecture," a source told Us Weekly back in 2020. "Moving there was always an option, but to begin with, she and Harry wanted to give Los Angeles a shot. Unfortunately, Harry absolutely hated it — the timing was so wrong amid the [coronavirus] pandemic and they lacked privacy." Perhaps Malibu will be the answer to their prayers!

Meghan Markle Could Return To Acting

Moving to Malibu isn’t the only potential big change in Harry and Meghan's life. According to reports, Meghan really seems to be taking the advice of the people who told her to embark on more solo projects, as she is rumored to be in serious talks to return to acting. Meghan is reportedly more in-demand than ever after Suits reruns launched on Netflix over the summer, breaking a record on Netflix for total viewing time for an acquired series with 3.14 billion minutes of watch time. Wow!

"Suits is such a hit in reruns that Meghan’s being told there’s a demand from fans to see her act again," a source reportedly told Life & Style Magazine. "She’s excited," the insider continued, adding, "While she’d love to land a new TV part, Meghan really wants to sink her teeth into a dramatic film role. She thinks an Oscar would be in her future."
