Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got their daughter the most 2021 baby gift. The Duke and Duchess registered several domains in their new daughter Lilibet Diana's name prior to her birth on June 4.

"As is often customary with public figures, a significant number of domains of any potential names that were considered were purchased by their team to protect against the exploitation of the name once it was later chosen and publicly shared," a spokesperson for Meghan and Harry told People.

While the websites are not yet active, among the domains purchased were LilibetDiana.com and LiliDiana.com, according to The Telegraph. And these domains were secured the day of her birth, according to a public registry of domain names. Their son Archie also has a website in his name, which is home to their charitable foundation Archewell.

As the spokesperson noted, the Duke and Duchess bought a "significant number" of domain names, so there were certainly other names in the running. But Lilibet Diana's special name comes from Queen Elizabeth's family nickname, which was used when she couldn't pronounce her own name as a little girl and became Prince Philip's pet name for his wife. Of course, her middle name was chosen in honor of Harry's late mother, Diana, the Princess of Wales.
