A Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Documentary Is In The Works About Their Tour of Africa
The royal tour of southern Africa has officially come to an end. Harry, Meghan, and baby Archie landed back in London early Thursday morning, but coverage of the trip, and of the searing statement Prince Harry released about the press on the penultimate day of the visit, continues.
Now, it seems, a new documentary will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the Sussexes' 10-day tour of South Africa, Botswana, Angola, and Malawi.
"Just finished filming a documentary on Harry and Meghan in Africa," wrote British news anchor Tom Bradby on Twitter this morning. "I think it will explain a lot when it airs."

That second sentence is likely a reference to the news that the Duchess of Sussex is suing The Mail on Sunday over the misuse of private information, infringement of copyright, and breach of the Data Protection Act 2018, and to Harry's unprecedented statement about the media that accompanied that announcement.
"There comes a point when the only thing to do is to stand up to this behaviour, because it destroys people and destroys lives. Put simply, it is bullying, which scares and silences people," Harry wrote. "We all know this isn’t acceptable, at any level. We won’t and can’t believe in a world where there is no accountability for this."
Details are slim at this point, but perhaps the new film will offer insight into exactly why Harry and Meghan are suing the Mail on Sunday, and their specific reasoning for announcing the news before the end of the tour. We're also keeping our fingers crossed that the footage will show private moments of Harry and Meghan meeting with organizations, as well as family moments with baby Archie.
