Just weeks after announcing their engagement, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's exciting holiday plans have been revealed!

Meghan will spend Christmas with Harry and the rest of the royals in Sandringham, the queen's 20,000-acre estate in Norfolk, England, marking the first year that she will take part in traditional celebration. According to The Times, she will be the royal fiancée to spend Christmas with the Queen before she officially becomes a member of the royal family. If you recall, even Kate wasn't given that honor when she and William got engaged.

Prince William and Duchess Kate will host the newly engaged couple at their family's Norfolk, England, home over the holiday season, a source told Us Weekly.

"They’ll be William and Kate’s guests and travel back and forth with them," the source added.

On Christmas Day, the royals will follow a strict schedule starting with a traditional English breakfast. After a mandatory 11 a.m. service at St. Mary Magdalene Church (a 300-yard walk from Sandringham), they'll enjoy a lunch featuring two roast turkeys. A third turkey is sent up to the nursery where it'll be served to Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The royals, along with Meghan, will retire to the saloon to listen to Queen Elizabeth's 3 p.m. speech. According to the source, the queen will congratulate Harry and Meghan on their engagement. The queen's famous Christmas message, which she writes herself with the help of a few advisers, is pre-recorded at Buckingham Palace a few days before the event.

And what about the presents? The royals take part in a German tradition in which you open gifts on Christmas Eve. The family frowns upon expensive gifts and will often swap funny ones. One year, Kate reportedly made homemade jam as gifts for her royal relatives. Prince Charle's favorite gift ever is reportedly a white leather toilet seat he received from Princess Anne.

Meghan, however, will skip Boxing Day (December 26) activities to stay home with Kate, who is pregnant with baby No. 3. According to the Us Weekly source, "they've developed a friendship, and Meghan can turn to Kate for advice."

But before the holiday celebrations begin, Meghan has returned to the United States to spend some quality time with her mother. More on that in the video above.
