The Duke of Sussex and former senior member of the British royal family is reportedly "thriving" since he and his wife, Meghan Markle, left the U.K. for sunny Santa Barbara.
"Harry doesn't have any regrets about leaving the royal family whatsoever and is really happy in Montecito," a source told Us Weekly. "He and Meghan are enjoying their new life in California — being a normal family and having the freedom to make their own decisions without anyone watching over them.
"That said, "he does miss his friends at home."
Of course, the past year hasn't been easy for anyone. Markle recently revealed in a candid op-ed that she had a miscarriage over the summer.

A different source told the outlet that the hardships of 2020 "brought them closer together and made them a stronger couple."
