A week ago, The Sun reported that Prince Harry had allegedly given up drinking to support his wife Meghan Markle during her pregnancy, as she can't drink while expecting. That was only a report, but last night, Harry more or less confirmed he's abstaining from alcohol for her, at least for one evening. The two were at a state dinner in Fiji during their royal tour, and royal reporter Omid Scobie noted that both Harry and Meghan toasted with water instead of champagne, wine, or any other alcoholic beverage.

A royal source detailed that Harry's prohibition has lasted for the last three months (Meghan is a little over 12 weeks pregnant, so presumably throughout all her time expecting) to The Sun last week. “Meghan obviously cannot drink during her pregnancy and Harry wants to be there to support her," the source explained. "When they are in London, they have been spending more nights in together as he cannot go out drinking with friends like he used to.”
