The Daily Mail got its hands on an early copy of Prince Harry’s new memoir, Spare, where he goes into detail about what it was like meeting King Charles’s second wife, Queen Camilla.

Apparently, Harry and William “begged” their dad not to marry Camilla (who they called the “other woman”) because they worried she’d be a “wicked stepmother.” Harry also recalled meeting Camilla for the first time, comparing it to an “injection” and writing, “Close your eyes and you won’t even feel it.”

“I remember wondering...if she would be cruel to me, if she would be like all the evil stepmothers in the stories,” Harry writes. “Willy had been suspicious of the Other Woman for a long time, which confused and tormented him; when those suspicions were confirmed, he felt agonizing remorse for not having done or said anything before.”

Charles and Camilla ended up getting married in 2005, and it’s unclear what Harry’s relationship with his stepmother looks like these days. However, he likely goes into it in his memoir, so make sure to pick up a copy when it drops on January 10! You know, if the entire contents haven’t been fully leaked by then.

And speaking of leaks, Harry just went into detail about a physical fight he had with Prince William after an argument about Meghan Markle (William allegedly pushed him to the ground in the kitchen), so go ahead and read about that below:
