Prince Harry's Grandfather Could Be His Twin in This 1957 Throwback Photo

While Prince William is pretty much Princess Diana’s twin, redhead Prince Harry’s resemblance to his royal relatives is a little less obvious — or so we thought …

Over the weekend, Getty Images royal photographer Chris Jackson unearthed a photo posted to the cover of a 1957 issue of Paris Match magazine in which Harry’s paternal grandfather, Prince Philip, is photographed in his white military uniform and cap. Roughly 36 years old at the time, the Duke of Edinburgh bears a striking resemblance to his future grandson, 34.

After discovering the similarities, Jackson posted a side-by-side comparison of the Paris Match cover and a photo of Harry to his Instagram.

Though Jackson admits the 61-year-old photo may have been colorized from a black and white negative, with a slightly auburn beard and pale blue eyes, Philip and his grandson appear nearly identical in the images.

Now, perhaps Harry won’t be the last in the royal line to take after the 97-year-old Prince. #RoyalBabySpring2k19 may very well resemble his (or her) proud dad.
