Prince Harry's Ex Cressida Bonas on the Wedding
Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas, an actress, dancer, and model that Harry dated from 2012 to 2014, didn't just attend Harry's wedding along with his other ex, Chelsy Davy. She also blogged about her experience there for The Spectator in a "diary" entry. Bonas, naturally, didn't go into the personal feelings she had watching her ex-boyfriend get married and looking absolutely, radiantly in love with Meghan Markle. But she did write about one struggle she endured: picking a non-tacky hat.
Friends are starting to get married, which means the dilemma of British wedding attire. Hats. Why do I find hats so tricky? Tricky to wear, tricky to look at, and extremely tricky for the poor soul sitting in the pew behind. Most of the time I avoid headgear. This can prompt disapproving looks from the older generations. Last weekend I attended the royal wedding. The invitation clearly stated that guests must wear hats. Yikes. I opted for a minimal feathered number-and can only hope I got it right.
