Prince Harry and Meghan Markle weren't the only members of the royal family missing from the Easter church service. Kate Middleton and Prince William's adorable children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George, didn't put in an appearance either.

Obviously, it's borderline devastating that fans didn't get to see the royal babies dressed in their Sunday best to celebrate Easter with the royal family.

But, according to Marie Claire, Prince William's children rarely celebrate Easter publicly. Marie Claire writes, "Prince George and Princess Charlotte have never visited St. George's Chapel with their parents on Easter. In fact, the only time we've since Prince George on Easter was in 2014 when he was in Australia on an Australia-New Zealand tour with his parents." And the photos of him, being held by his dad, are beyond adorable:

The service took place at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, which just so happens to be the location of Prince Harry and Markle's forthcoming nuptials. Kate Middleton and Prince William accompanied the Queen as, sadly, Prince Philip was too ill to attend. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle eschewed the church service in favor of a "private" Easter celebration in their home.

Despite being technically on maternity leave, Middleton attended the service, and looked effortlessly chic in a dark coat, and brown hat. According to Hello!, the due date is approximately April 23, so it's likely that Middleton and Prince William will be welcoming their third child within the next few weeks.
