Prince George and Princess Charlotte Will Reportedly Serve as Bridal Attendants in Yet Another Wedding

From Town & Country

At this point, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are practically professional bridal attendants. Over the past year or so, they've served as pageboy and bridesmaid for not only their uncle Harry, but also Princess Eugenie, and their mom Kate's friends Sophie Carter and Robert Snuggs.

Now, it's being reported that they'll reprise their roles once again in the upcoming wedding of Prince William's close friend Thomas van Straubenzee to Lucy Lanigan-O’Keeffe, who just so happens to be a mindfulness teacher at Thomas's Battersea, where Prince George currently attends school, and where Princess Charlotte is expected to start later this year.

According to reporter Roya Nikkhah for the Sunday Times, the happy couple just recently got engaged, and while it's unclear exactly how they were first introduced, "nobody would be surprised if Prince William or his wife, Kate, were involved."

Wedding details like where and when the ceremony will take place have yet to be made public, but Nikkah does report that Prince William will serve as an usher.

The van Straubenzee family has long had close ties to the royals. Thomas attended Ludgrove School (a boarding school in Berkshire) with Princes William and Harry, as did his younger brother Charlie and their late brother Henry, who died in a car crash in 2002.

This will be van Straubenzee's second marriage, and both William and Harry were ushers at his first wedding to Lady Melissa Percy in June of 2013, though that relationship ended in divorce three years later.

Thomas also serves as a godfather to Princess Charlotte, while his younger brother Charlie is likely to fill that same role for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's baby boy, Archie.
