Prince George and Princess Charlotte Love Making This Food With Mom Kate Middleton

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are a never-ending source of adorableness, from their first days of school to their sweet sibling relationship, which is why we’re gobbling up this cute food fact about the little royals. According to their mother, Duchess Kate Middleton, George and Charlotte enjoy cooking — or at least playing with ooey-gooey ingredients in the kitchen.

On Thursday, March 22, her final day of public appearances before her maternity leave, the pregnant duchess helped to prepare meals for St Luke’s Community Centre’s upcoming Commonwealth Big Lunch. As she chatted with community members, she opened up about making food with her four-year-old son and two-year-old daughter.

“I’ve done that with George and Charlotte — making pizza dough,” Middleton said, according to Hello! magazine. She added that the children “love it because they can get their hands messy.”

The thought of little Prince George and Princess Charlotte giggling up a storm while mucking around with dough and sauce and cheese in the kitchen of Kensington Palace is almost too adorable to handle.

If they’re not in the mood for pizza, though, pasta is another royal favorite. In January, when a four-year-old patient at the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London told Middleton that he liked pasta, the duchess replied, “Charlotte likes pasta too.” The mother of two (soon-to-be three) made a similar comment about her son during a visit to Canada in 2016. “[Kate Middleton] asked me what [I like to cook] and I said Italian like pizza and pasta and she said George loves that,” said a woman who met the royal.
