The royals may be celebrating Queen Elizabeth‘s 92nd birthday, but as usual, it’s the youngest members of the family who stole the show.

The annual Trooping the Colour parade took place on Saturday, bringing much of the royal family and thousands of spectators to Buckingham Palace. However, Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3, might as well have been the guests of honor. Although the two were absent during the grand entrances that most of the family members made by carriage — including their mother Kate Middleton, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — the young brother and sister duo made their appearance on the balcony with the rest of the family.

Matching their mother’s color scheme, Charlotte wore a patterned blue dress along with a red bow in her hair. George, meanwhile, looked dapper in a white collared shirt with blue trim.

The outfits, though, weren’t the reason why the kids stood out. Instead, it was George’s attempt at singing that got people’s attention.

Viewing the low-flying military planes in awe, and clapping as they flew by, both George and Charlotte were well-behaved. Until George attempted to sing along with the national anthem. That’s when the prince’s cousin Savannah Phillips hilariously covered George’s mouth to keep him from singing.

The moment captured the internet’s attention.

The hilarious move had onlookers in admiration of the young royals who continue to have childish fun during these traditional events.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third child, Prince Louis, was noticeably absent from the event. At just under two months old, he has people anticipating his official debut, which will most likely be at his christening.
