Prince Charles has been in touch with his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, following his COVID-19 diagnosis. According to ITV reporter Chris Ship, Prince William is currently in Norfolk, and Prince Harry is in Canada.

Clarence House confirmed the news that after experiencing mild symptoms, the Prince of Wales tested positive for COVID-19, and is currently self-isolating at Birkhall, his home in Scotland on the Balmoral estate. It is unclear when he caught the virus or from whom, but he was still attending royal engagements as late as mid-March. Camilla is also at Birkhall, but she has does not currently have the virus. Buckingham Palace has also shared that the Queen "remains in good health."

“The Prince of Wales has tested positive for Coronavirus. He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual. The Duchess of Cornwall has also been tested but does not have the virus. In accordance with Government and medical advice, the Prince and the Duchess are now self-isolating at home in Scotland. The tests were carried out by the NHS in Aberdeenshire where they met the criteria required for testing.

“It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.”

Both Prince William and Prince Harry have spoken out about the coronavirus pandemic in recent days. Last week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent time with medical workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak.

“All of us have a part to play if we’re going to protect the most vulnerable,” William said in a statement. “That means acting on the latest expert advice, staying home if we or those we live with have symptoms, and avoiding non-essential contact to help reduce the spread of the virus.”

Prince Harry and Meghan have also been sharing resources during this difficult time on their Instagram account. Just yesterday, they posted guidelines from the World Health Organization, as well as a message of gratitude for healthcare workers dealing with this crisis.
