Prince Charles recently tested positive for COVID-19, but his diagnosis (and mild symptoms) didn't stop him from publicly thanking the first responders fighting the virus. He and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, joined many UK citizens in the "Clap for our Carers" campaign, which honors those facing COVID-19 head on.

"Clap for our Carers" asks UK citizens to take a moment to pause and applaud the National Health Services staffers who are working to keep everyone safe and healthy. The campaign has reached social media as #ClapForOurCarers.

In an Instagram story on the @clarencehouse account, Charles and Camilla wrote, "Don't forget to support #ClapForOurCarers tonight to show our appreciation for all the nurses, doctors and carers supporting the fight against coronavirus."

This text was posted alongside photos of the couple shaking hands with NHS workers and instructions explaining the Clap for our Carers initiative. Finally, the couple posted a story of them clapping from two different rooms, as Prince Charles remains in isolation due to his COVID-19 positive test results.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were not the only royals to take part in Clap for our Carers. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and little Prince Louis clapped their small hands, in a video posted on the Kensington Royal social media accounts.

Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, also shared an Instagram story to show their support, writing, "Thank you for all that you continue to do! Applauding you from across the pond," accompanied by clapping emojis. Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, also uploaded a video of their family clapping together to social media.

The official Royal Family social media accounts, too, shared a video from Windsor Castle, where Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are currently staying, showcasing loud clapping throughout the grounds.
