As Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet grow older, many are wondering if a bond with the British royal family will happen. Some insiders and experts claimed Harry has almost budged and wants a relationship between his father King Charles III and his children. However, others claim Harry is standing strong and keeping his distance. But amid all of this, one expert thinks Archie and Lilibet’s future in the UK relies on this factor.

Royal commentator Michael Cole told GB News that he believes two things: that the Sussex kids won’t return to the UK until Harry does, and this situation is allegedly breaking Charles’s heart.

“[Charles] loves his children, he loves his grandchildren, he loves his godchildren. The fact he does not see them [Archie and Lilibet] and that is not his wish, will be very upsetting to him,” he said. “It will be a long time before Prince Harry returns to the country with his children.”

So from what we gather, it could really be anyone’s guess as to when Archie and Lilibet will return to the UK, with a decision ultimately being up to their parents. Harry did go to the UK in 2023 for his one court appearance, but he arrived solo, and he has stated numerous times that he doesn’t want to return to the UK out of wanting to keep Megan and their children safe.

There have been musings of the Sussexes returning to the country for the Duke of Westminster’s wedding in the summer of 2024, but for one thing, insiders have claimed that they’ve already RSVP no, and another, typically these high society weddings aren’t extremely kid friendly so we can’t imagine they’d bring their children.

For those who don’t know, Harry and Meghan started dating in 2016 and by April 2018, they were married in a beautiful royal ceremony. They share two children together named Archie, born in May 2019, and Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.
