Prince Andrew Is Still Fully Planning on Walking Princess Beatrice Down the Aisle at Her Wedding
Prince Andrew will reportedly "play a major part" in Princess Beatrice's wedding and is still planning on walking her down the aisle.
Prince Andrew just took a step back from royal duties due to his scandalous association with Jeffrey Epstein, so it's maybe not the best look!
While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are living their best lives on holiday break in Canada and Prince William and Prince George are busy making 99 servings of Christmas pudding, things haven't been so great for another branch of the royal family, aka Prince Andrew and his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.
Sources previously shared that since Prince Andrew took a step back from royal duties due to the whole Jeffrey Epstein scandal, Beatrice and Eugenie have been "going through hell." Meanwhile, Beatrice is planning her wedding to fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and it seems like Andrew's scandal has made things more difficult. Last week, Beatrice was reportedly thinking about canceling her engagement party "because of fears there will be too many photographers outside—looking for [Prince Andrew]," but instead, she went ahead and had the party—just without her dad.
However, People is now reporting that Prince Andrew isn't going to let the scandal ruin his involvement in Beatrice's actual wedding, and "will likely play a major part." A source shared, "I definitely think he will walk her down the aisle. He plays a very traditional role in her life. She’s his greatest supporter."
The source goes on to add that even though "this is obviously very hard times," Beatrice and her dad "still traveling together, they are still going ahead like normal. Beatrice would never do anything to be hurtful to her father. He’s going to be by her side and she’s going to be by his."
So, er, I guess we'll be seeing a lot of Prince Andrew at the wedding!
