Prime Video Just Dropped the First Teaser for “Daisy Jones & the Six” (!!)

Grab your records and tune your guitars because Daisy Jones & The Six is headed to the small screen. The series, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid, debuts on Prime Video in less than two months (!) and we can hardly contain our excitement.

The series will follow the same plotline of the book, which recounts one band’s whirlwind rise to fame during the 1970s, before it all crashed and burned and the band broke up at the height of their careers. “In 1977, Daisy Jones & The Six were on top of the world,” the official show description reads. “Fronted by two charismatic lead singers — Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne — the band had risen from obscurity to fame. And then, after a sold-out show at Chicago's Soldier Field, they called it quits. Now, decades later, the band members finally agree to reveal the truth. This is the story of how an iconic band imploded at the height of its powers.”

When does Daisy Jones & The Six premiere?

Is there a trailer?

Yes! On January 25, the streamer finally (!) dropped an approximately 1:30-minute teaser, delving a bit deeper into the band’s meteoric rise in the 1970s, and eventual fall. “Their music made them famous,” the video reads in between incredible shots of the six-person band. “Their breakup made them legends.” The clip continues to show highlights from the four-episode series, and even introduces one of the band’s hit songs, “Regret Me.”

Riley Keough, the granddaughter of late music legend Elvis Presley and daughter of late Lisa Marie Presley, stars as lead singer Daisy Jones. The rest of the star-studded cast is as follows:
