Priest Contestant on 'Jeopardy!' Incorrectly Guesses 'Euphoria' Question

But can anyone really blame him?

A Walla Walla, Washington priest has had some pretty good luck on Jeopardy! this week, but one HBO show had him stumped.

"ICYMI: What do you mean David the priest hasn't seen Euphoria?!" the official Jeopardy! Twitter account tweeted, accompanying a clip of the moment where the contestant gave it his best shot.

The clue was chosen by Moira, who was just behind David by $200. It was the $1000 question under the category "Characters On The TV Show," and read: "Fezco, Lexi & Ashtray, Not Always Happy".

David buzzed in almost immediately to guess That '70s Show, knocking him down to $2,800, while Moira and their co-competitor, Sonalee, chose not to hazard guesses of their own.

"Kind of thought David did not watch Euphoria," host Ken Jennings joked, "and I was correct."

"You are," the priest confirmed while nodding his head.

It didn't set him back too far, though. According to Furman University, the priest's alma mater, he's won the last four episodes and will compete again tonight, Sept. 30.
