A “Pretty Little Liars” Revival Isn’t Out of the Question According to I. Marlene King

HERE. FOR. THIS.

Pretty Little Liars may have only ended last year but that doesn't mean showrunner I. Marlene King isn't already thinking about bringing some of her favorite characters back to the small screen. In a recent interview, she opened up about how much she loved writing the show, and why she'd consider doing it again.

“I love those characters so much. A couple of those characters are going to be in the Pretty Little Liars spinoff. I had so much fun writing for those characters again and it just made me realize how much I love writing for that world,” she told US Weekly at Thursday's Freeform Summit. “I think the girls all really want to grow up and do their own things, like follow their own individual projects for a while. And maybe we’ll eventually come back."

Of course, she's currently working on The Perfectionists, the show's first spinoff that stars Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish and revolves around another mysterious murder. Though we don't have a pilot release date, it is amazing to hear that I. Marlene is considering creating even more in ROSEWOOD for us – and that's the pretty little truth.
