“Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” Announced Aria and Ezra Now Have a Child
Pretty Little Liars spinoff The Perfectionists centers on a few characters we met back in Rosewood, most notably Alison DiLaurentis, who has moved to a town called Beacon Heights to work as a teacher, and Mona Vanderwaal, who works at the school. While the characters may have moved away from Rosewood, that doesn’t mean they’ve abandoned their friendships, and the latest episode of The Perfectionists revealed that some of Alison’s besties have had major life changes since she left.
Spoilers ahead, so if you’re still finishing PLL or haven't caught up with The Perfectionists, don’t read any further! If you’re curious to know what happened to Aria, Ezra, Spencer, Toby, Hannah, and Caleb, though, read on, because the most recent episode gave away huge details about their lives now. The Perfectionists is set a few years after the PLL finale, so it makes sense that time has passed for the main characters.
The last time we saw Aria and Ezra, they were tying the knot. Now, they’ve added a new baby to their family, one with a very significant name. The official PLL Twitter account leaked a text convo between Alison and Aria to reveal the news, with Aria saying they’ve named the baby Katherine Ella — Ella, of course, after Aria’s mother. Aria also shared that her first book, Park Avenue, sold out, and it’s on its way to becoming a movie made by Reese Witherspoon. While we don’t think we’ll see this play out onscreen, unfortunately, it’s fun to imagine a PLL cast reunion at a fictional movie premiere!
As for the other Liars, TVLine reported that Spencer and Toby got hitched, running away to elope, and Hanna has a baby too! Hey, maybe we’ll get a third installment of the PLL series in a few years centering on the Liars as parents and working adults, like Desperate Housewives for a new generation … just an idea!
