Prettiest Baby Shower for One of the Loveliest Ladies Around

Selfishly, this post is SUCH a treat! Not only is it the baby shower of our friend Diana Perrin - founder of Casa de Perrin - I also spotted so many of my sweet Cali friends that I haven't seen in a long time! The shower was photographed to perfection by Joel Serrato with, absurdly lovely tableware from Casa, beauty styling by TEAM, amazing paper goods from Amber Moon & the prettiest florals ever from Honey & Poppies. Planned by Events of Love and Splendor, you can see the whole thing right here!

From Diana of Casa de Perrin...I was so excited to celebrate the impending arrival of Baby de Perrin with family and friends. Luckily, some of my dearest friends also work in the events industry, and were able to help plan this incredible celebration for our Baby Girl. Angel Swanson of Love and Splendor helped me put my vision for baby girl to reality!

The basis of the design was inspired by the llama wallpaper I chose for our nursery, which Amber Moon of Amber Moon Design made into envelope liners for the invitations. From there, we went with a soft palette of dusty hued envelopes, calligraphed in white by Anne Robin, for a girly but not too girly overall palette.

Megan Gray of Honey & Poppies created a beautiful Spring palette of blooms, and individual floral crowns for all my guests, which were laid on top of mismatched plates from our Heath Ceramics lines in Opaque White, French Grey and our Casa de Perrin custom colors in Sunrise and Wildflower. The settings also included our Goa Flatware in Brushed 24k Gold/Wood, Bella 24k Gold Rimmed Stemless Glassware in Blush, and Pink + Gold Salt Cellars. Everything sat on top of Marshall Reclaimed Wood vintage tables, paired with vintage white bistro chairs from Found Vintage Rentals

My lovely friend Mar of Team Hair and Makeup came the morning of the shower to make me feel my best, before ultimately returning back to celebrate the day. When the photos of the day arrived in the mail from Joel Serrato I nearly squealed with joy.

The food, provided by Annie Campbell Catering was not only incredibly delicious, but equally as beautiful, and included a Champagne bar with assorted syrups, fresh juices and bitters, a lillet rose cocktail, and flat and sparkling waters. Additional items that were served: farmer’s market crudités platter, mini grilled cheese with pickled apple and crispy sage, english peak pancakes with dungess crab and meyer lemon creme fraiche, buttermilk fried chicken sliders on brioche buns with pickles and aoili, and cheeseboards with fruit, nuts, fig jam, honey, crackers, breads and other various and yummy accouterments. Ashley Capra from Paula Le Duc Fine Catering and Events had favors made and shipped to us from San Francisco for all my guests—the sweetest “Meringue Kisses” in the colors of our Heath Ceramics plates, beautifully gifted in ceramic white bowls with blush ribbon. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to celebrate with friends and family, and all the love they showed for our growing family. We can’t wait to meet our baby girl!
