Prestigious Santa Barbara Winery Invites You To Walk Their Stunning Estate For Mental Health Services Fundraiser

Peace of Mind was launched in 2020 to support mental health community services, as well as fund research on the causes, treatment and potential cures for anxiety and depression. Hosted this year in May in alignment with Mental Health Awareness Month, the 10,000-step walk takes place across Alma Rosa’s breathtaking 628-acre estate on Saturday, May 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m

Join Alma Rosa for this transcendent 10,000-step, or approximately 4.5-mile walk, that begins at the entrance of their stunning 628-acre estate property and traverse across the hillside vineyards located off Santa Rosa Road in Buellton, CA. Registered participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine or other non-alcoholic refreshments at the top of the Caracol and Attente blocks, while taking in the sweeping hilltop views of the region. Following the walk, the winery will host an intimate reception with current releases from Alma Rosa and additional winery partners, including The Hilt. Additional refreshments and snacks will be provided by sponsors including Leisure Project, Kate’s Real Food and Pressed Juicery. In addition to the reception, tickets to attend a private luncheon held at Alma Rosa’s historic Ranch House will be available for purchase, here. This lunch will be catered by Full of Life Flatbread from Los Alamos, CA.

With Peace of Mind returning for its fifth year, we are excited to welcome guests back to Alma Rosa estate to participate in this year’s walk,” says General Manager Debra Eagle. “This year we have decided to move our annual walk to May in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, and we’ll also be expanding our winery partners for the post-walk wine tasting. We are proud to continue our commitment to supporting One Mind and Mental Wellness Center and hope to inspire more people to join us this year in supporting the critical work of these organizations.”

Following the walk, Alma Rosa will be hosting a short wine tasting reception with opportunities to taste the newest releases from Winemaker Samra Morris, as well as releases from additional winery partners. The winery will also be offering a limited seating, luncheon in partnership with Full Life Flatbread for $250/person. The cost to walk and attend the luncheon is $305. All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the critical initiatives of One Mind and Santa Barbara’s Mental Wellness Center.
