Presley Gerber Debuts a Face Tattoo

“Misunderstood.”

Presley Gerber is adding to his ever-expanding collection of body art with a brand new tattoo in an unexpected place: his face.

The model and sibling of Kaia Gerber gave his followers a peek at the new ink on Instagram, sharing a video and photo of the experience with famed tattoo artist Jon Boy. It doesn’t look like the most comfortable process of all time; you can see Presley wince a bit as the needle grazes his skin. TBQH, I’m feeling some second-hand pains just watching!

So what did he choose to ink on his cheekbone, you ask? Jon Boy shared a pic of Presley’s new ink, which reads “Misunderstood” in small letters. “Sorry mom,” Jon Boy wrote in the caption as a tongue-in-cheek joke to Presley’s supermodel mom, Cindy Crawford.

Presley is no stranger to body art; he’s got a lot of it, including neck tattoos, his sister Kaia’s name on his arm, and others. He and Kaia recently visited tattoo artist Evan Tattoo in New York, where she received two delicate designs and Presley opted for the word “HAHA” on his knuckles.

None of Presley’s famous fam has commented on his new ink (yet), but we'll keep our eyes out to see if any of them weigh in — especially Cindy, given Jon Boy's LOL-worthy caption. Regardless, it seems as though small face tattoos are becoming more of a thing these days. Justin Bieber recently inked the word “grace” above his eyebrow, and Halsey has a tiny one near her ear. We’ll have to wait and see if Presley’s “misunderstood” moment sparks a new trend, but we wouldn't be surprised if more and more celebs start sporting ink on their face in the future.
