Peregrine Pearson: October 2023-Present

In October 2023, Sophie legit broke the internet after she was spotted kissing (ahem: "snogging") British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson outside the Gare du Nord railway station in Paris, according to pics posted by The Sun. Btw, at the time, it was also publicized that he had just broken up with King Charles'goddaughter (!!!!), Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, in September of that year. TL;DR: Peregrine and Sophie were hot off relationships...aaaaand seemingly hot for each other. 👀

Ever since, the two have low-key been on a world tour we're deeply envious of. Case in point? Paps caught the two kissing during a walk in London on December 8, 2023, and snuggling during yet another stroll in January 2024. That same month, an insider opened up about the couple's 'ship to Us Weekly and noted that after only a few months of dating, things were "getting fairly serious." "They had an immediate spark when they first started dating. Things have only grown closer between them since," they added.

Additionally, the actor reportedly "never expected to find someone she cares about this quickly [after her breakup with Joe Jonas]." "Of course, the physical attraction is there. Sophie and Joe began dating after the musician reached out to the Game of Thrones alum on *checks notes* Instagram in 2016. "We had a lot of mutual friends. And they'd been trying to introduce us for a long time," Sophie dished to Harper's Bazaar UK in March 2019 about their ~origin story~. "We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue."

The two ultimately began dating in October 2016, and by October 2017 the musician proposed to the actor. They eventually got married in July 2019 at Château du Martinet in Provence (that is, after a very campy Vegas ceremony a month prior lol) and went on to have two children: Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1.

Despite the couple looking incredible at everything from Jonas Brothers concerts to the steps of the Met Gala and collectively winning over our hearts, they ended up rocking our world in September 2023 after Joe filed for divorce, citing that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.

Two years prior to her high-profile romance with Joe Jonas, Sophie briefly dated The Vamps guitarist James McVey. The duo initially met through social media, as many mid-2010's couples so often did (@ Kylie Jenner, anyone?), and exchanged flirty tweets before ultimately meeting up in person.

One of the couple's outings included a cute stroll through the British Summer Time Festival, where they were spotted hanging out with Ellie Goulding and fellow Game of Thrones actor Maisie Williams. However, Sophie and James eventually graduated to posting each other on the grid, as is evidenced by this car selfie of the two of them, which was captioned "Morning road trips are the best."

But even amid all of this ^^, sources still maintained that the two weren't rushing into anything that serious, with one even dishing the following to The Sun (via the Daily Mail): "It's still early days. She has just really broken into the big time through Game of Thrones and James and his band are constantly traveling to gigs, so they are taking it pretty slowly but they do really like each other."

*Le sigh* Unfortunately, the celebs wound up splitting a few months later. What little we do know about the breakup is that it was rumored to have ended after a Twitter feud between them that included this yikes comment:

However, in a subsequent interview with The Sun in November 2018, James actually discussed their romance and revealed that he and Sophie had actually split six weeks after the online "joke" and even ended things amicably.

"I've been meaning to put this right for years, and for some reason I haven't. So Sophie and I, we actually parted really amicably, and the stuff that was all on Twitter was a joke between me and her," he began before adding, "We were actually still together when we did all that."

"No one really got it apart from us, and now, in hindsight, it looks like we had a really messy breakup, but when we did that, we actually carried on dating for, like, six weeks after that and it was fine. It was just meant to be a joke that no one really got. So, no, there's no bad blood between Sophie and I," he added.

James continued to show he wasn't harboring any bad feelings about the sitch by congratulating his ex on her then-upcoming nuptials to Joe Jonas: "I've spoken to her a couple times since [she got engaged]. I'm really happy for them. I really love DNCE, Joe's band, and I'm really happy for them."
