In 2003, the ELLE DECO International Design Awards (EDIDA) were inaugurated by the 25 international editions of ELLE Decor to celebrate the work of the world’s greatest design talents. Each edition nominates 14 designers and product lines across different categories including bathroom, bedding, designer of the year, fabrics, floor covering, furniture, interior designer of the year, kitchen, lighting, outdoor, seating, tableware, wallcovering, and young design talent. (The nominees from the U.S. edition for this year can be seen here.)

From this global talent pool, the 25 editors-in-chief vote for their favorites, and the winners are awarded each year during Milan Design Week. Due to the cancellation of this year’s Salone del Mobile and Milan Design Week, however, for the first time ever, the award ceremony was held virtually. You can watch the video below to see the winners revealed!

We’d like to thank M Gallery for being our official partner for the third year in a row.
