Prepare yourselves: We can FINALLY vote for (and request!) new emojis

It’s the election we’ve all been waiting for. No, not the presidential election — but the chance to vote in some shiny new emojis to really diversify your texting portfolio. (If we use big words, it becomes serious adult business, right? Right.)

According to Brit + Co, a new feature in the emoji app allows you to see all the emojis that are up for consideration to be added to your daily life.

And if you don’t want to vote on your phone, you can also go directly to their website to see what’s up for consideration and share your opinion there!

Personally, we’re super partial to this little/big guy…

But there are a ton of totally life-changing options to choose from. The current leaders are a ‘shhhhh’ emoji and a fingers crossed emoji, both of which we think we’d use about 200 times a day. (Minimum.) Maybe the only thing we would use more is the dinosaur — because REALLY, what conversation isn’t improved by a brachiosaurus!?

Suffice to say we’re a little excited.
