It's hard to believe, but the final two episodes of Liv and Maddie: Cali Style three-part series finale are right around the corner. We're still recovering from last week's emotional show, in which Liv sustained serious vocal trauma, and it looks like it's only going to get more intense. Dove Cameron shared with Seventeen.com some hints about what's to come in Friday's "Voice-A-Rooney," the penultimate episode of the series - and what's in store for Liv and Holden.

In the upcoming episode, Liv undergoes surgery unsure if she'll ever sing again, so Karen and Maddie call in reinforcements for emotional support. Learning whether Liv's voice is intact is reason enough to tune in, but so is the return of her ex, Holden Dippledorf.

That's right, Jordan Fisher returns to guest-star as Liv's old flame, and based on the promo images for the new episode, there's a chance he could make some beautiful music in the episode.

The question is: Will Holden be back purely as emotional support, or could there be a romantic reunion in our future?

While Dove wouldn't say whether the two characters would reunite in quite that way, she did reveal that there are still some serious feelings between the exes.

"I don't think Holden could ever come back as just emotional support," Dove said, pointing out that there was always something more than friendship between Liv and Holden. "Holden was Liv's only real relationship throughout the series."

So we still don't know for sure if Livden (my preferred ship name) will un-break up, but that's neither here nor there if our girl can't sing! In an exclusive clip from the upcoming episode, Liv is so worried about her vocal status that she freezes during a rehearsal, too scared to try a note. Check out the heartbreaking moment below.

Find out what happens when "Voice-A-Rooney" airs on the Disney Channel tomorrow night at 5:30 p.m. Make sure to have your Disney Channel app open while you watch so you can participate in the Live Play experience and test your Liv and Maddie knowledge with live trivia and polls while you watch.
