Prepare for heartbreak: Your childhood crush from the '90s just got married

Matthew Lawrence from "Boy Meets World" and Cheryl Burke from "Dancing With the Stars" officially tied the knot this week.

It’s a heartbreaking day for all the Boy Meets World fans who had photo collages of Jack Hunter taped to the front of their math folders in middle school. The chiseled heartthrob from our ’90s dreams is officially off the market, because Matthew Lawrence and Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke tied the knot on Thursday, May 23rd.

According to PEOPLE, the talented duo said their vows at the Fairmont Grand del Mar in San Diego, California—and if the photos are anything to go by, both Cheryl and Shawn Hunter’s hunky on-screen half-brother looked stunning.

Burke wrote “5.23.19” on Instagram with a red emoji heart, adding the wedding hashtag #CherylandMATTrimony. In the professional photo, taken by Amy and Stuart Photography, she is donning a white Romona Keveza gown with a six-foot train, sweetheart neckline, and off-the-shoulder straps. Her dark hair is down and grazing her shoulders, and a sheer white veil is nestled on her head. For his part, Lawrence is wearing a sharp black tuxedo, bow-tie, and enormous grin.

Dancing With the Stars fans will be happy to know that Burke asked Kym Johnson Herjavek to be one of her bridesmaids alongside her sister and matron of honor, actress Leah Remini. Lawrence asked his two brothers to be his best men.

As for Boy Meets World fans, we’re about ready to break into a chorus of “Sunrise, Sunset” as we watch these kids grow up. Eric Matthews (Will Friedle) got hitched in 2016, and fan-favorite Topanga (Danielle Fishel) is expecting a baby this summer.

It doesn’t appear that Mr. Feeny officiated the ceremony between Burke and Lawrence, but until we hear definitively one way or the other, that is 100% what we’re going to let ourselves believe. Congratulations to the happy couple.
