Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian Gives Health Update on Baby After 'Urgent' Surgery

Kourtney Kardashian has broken her silence on her recent medical emergency.
On Sept. 6, the Poosh founder shared an update with fans on Instagram, paired with a photo of herself at the hospital, holding husband Travis Barker's hand.
The 44-year-old wrote, "I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this."
She then opened up about how terrifying the experience was, noting, "As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery."
The Kardashians star continued, "I don't think anyone who hasn't been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant."
Kardashian ended her update by assuring fans that all is now well for her unborn baby boy. "Praise be to God," she concluded. "Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing. 🙏🏼🤍."
The social media post comes two days after a source told People that Kardashian is "back home now with her kids" and "feeling better" following her hospitalization.
On Sept. 1, Blink-182 announced that their European and UK tour dates had been postponed after Barker experienced an "urgent family matter." Barker then shared photos on his Instagram Story of what appeared to be a hospital prayer room.
Kardashian—who is also a mom to kids Mason Disick, 13, Penelope Disick, 11 and Reign Disick, 8—confirmed she was pregnant earlier this summer. The reality TV personality publicly shared the news at the June 16 Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles, Calif.
As shown on her Instagram page, Kardashian held up a sign in the crowd that read, "Travis I'm Pregnant," later planting a kiss on her drummer husband. Shortly after this announcement, the couple revealed that they were expecting a baby boy.
Barker shares son Landon, 19, daughter Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana, 24, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
