Precious Pug Abandoned in Trash Bin Has an Incredible Adoption Story

We really aren't surprised!

We'll never ever understand how people can just leave their fur babies out in the streets. The unfortunate reality is that it happens more often than you'd think and every time we hear about it, our hearts break. When will people understand that owning an animal is a ton of work and responsibility?

A recent story of a pug puppy being surrendered to an Arizona shelter ripped our hearts out. Instead of the person bringing the surrendered pug in person, this person left the poor pup right outside in a trash bin. Luckily, an employee of Maricopa County Animal Care & Control discovered the pug. As unfortunate as this is, the story does have a happy ending. Read the rest of the post to find out more!

Wow! Within hours of posting this story on their Facebook account, the shelter updated the post and said the pug was already adopted. That's wonderful news! We just know Dumpling, a perfect name for this pup, is going to have a wonderful life with her new family.

"Unbelievable. I never thought I would see the day a pug was abandoned. Now I know the human being is at its lowest form," wrote Facebook user Nannette Kenney. That goes for all pets too! We truly will never understand. Sherry Brown added, "Heartbreaking what people do to their pets. Please find a shelter or veterinarian to help you if you no longer want your pet." Exactly! There are resources to help you if you are unable to take care of your pet.

Another Facebook user, Shawna Rice Festag, said, "I’m crying. Thank goodness an employee was at the right place at the right time." This story put us on quite an emotional rollercoaster. Crying because we were heartbroken at first, but then happy tears knowing the pug was discovered, taken in and quickly adopted to her forever home!
