Precious Bulldogs' Curiosity Over Sea Lions in Oregon Is Downright Adorable
They were so intrigued!
Mabel and Sophie are two curious English Bulldog gals who live with their mama and animal siblings in the Pacific Northwest. They love exploring the great outdoors, but every now and again, they come across something especially interesting.
In a recent viral video from their TikTok account, @mabelandsophiemay, the girls can't help but stare at a pack of sea lions who are sunbathing on a nearby dock in Newport, Oregon. Their fascination is the cutest thing!

Aww! We can't get enough of these pups and their joyful curiosity. We can't help but wonder what these wrinkly girls are thinking, but we have a feeling they love watching the sea lions in the same way their viewers love watching them.
These Bulldogs are so invested in what the sea lions are doing, though, and we don't blame them one bit. We'd stop to watch these marine mammals too!
In fact, the Newport sea lions are well-known among Oregonians and tourists alike. Many people visit the docks at Yaquina Bay to get an up-close glimpse at the creatures, though their website claims that Port Dock One is the place to be. There used to be even more docks for sea lions to sunbathe and rest, but they were unfortunately destroyed in a storm back in December 2022.
Even though it's free to visit the sea lions in Newport, you can make a donation online to help fund the rebuilding of the docks. Once they're funded and built, more sightseers like Mabel and Sophie will be able to visit the sea lions!
