'Precious' Actress Gabourey Sidibe Is Pregnant and Expecting Twins at 40

Gabourey Sidibe is about to become a mom!
The 40-year-old actress took to social media this week to announce that she and her husband, Brandon Frankel, are expecting not just one but two bundles of joy set to arrive later this year.
Sidibe shared the news to Instagram on Tuesday, Feb. 27, while debuting her baby bump in a series of joyful photos taken at the Babylist store in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The Precious star was glowing in a bright pink mini dress with long sleeves for the outing while her husband wrapped his arms around her growing belly. The couple—who quietly tied the knot in 2021—also posed for a smiling pic while pushing a double stroller, something they will certainly need once their twins arrive.
"I'm pregnant!" Sidibe celebrated in her Instagram post on Tuesday while joking, "We thought it was time to give our cats some responsibility so we're giving them each a baby to take care of!
"Double the babies, double the cats, double the fun!!" the Oscar-nominee added. "Twin Delivery coming soon! Twinty Twinty Four!!"
The soon-to-be parents received tons of love and support after sharing the happy news, as tons of family, friends and fans took to the comments section to send words of congratulations.
"OH MY GOSH!!!! Congratulations!" wrote Jordin Sparks, who quipped, "This page is now a twinstagram!! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽."
Octavia Spencer also chimed in to say, "Congratulations!!!!! You’re radiant."
"Amazing! CONGRATULATIONS 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🎉" added Carla Hall, while Amber Riley also left a comment that read, "So happy for you guys 🥹."
