Precious 6-Week Old Kitten Found Abandoned at Las Vegas Airport Terminal

The poor thing was left inside a carrier.

In what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas news that makes absolutely no sense, a 6-week-old kitten was found abandoned at the Harry Reid International Airport at a terminal gate. The kitten was left in a cat carrier with two toys and a towel.

The Animal Foundation of Las Vegas took in this baby, and they estimate he weighs about one and a half pounds. It seems pretty implausible that someone would go through the trouble of bringing a kitten all the way to the airport in a carrier with toys only to dump the poor animal, but here we are.  Just look at this tiny baby who was abandoned.

The rescue shared tiny Bruno on Instagram with the caption, "A 6-week-old kitten that was abandoned at a terminal gate at Harry Reid International Airport is now being cared for at The Animal Foundation."

"You deserve and will find the best home, sweet little one," said @Amedecki. @Nberrybee adds, "Bruno seems like an absolute angel. I would love to see Bruno find his forever home as soon as possible." Judging from all the comments on the Instagram post offering to adopt this sweet little kitten, we have a feeling he will find a wonderful home very soon. @Cvlphotog added, "Bruno! You will adopt the right family!"

Viewer @Krisswickedlysweettreats made a very valid point when they said, "This little guy is absolutely adorable... I was mad about someone leaving him in the airport, but they could have done worse like throwing him out in the streets or abusing him. At least he would be found and saved in a busy airport. But they still could have taken him to a shelter." Still, it's terrible someone would abandon Bruno like that.

The Animal Foundation of Las Vegas said they are currently taking care of Bruno and he will be ready for adoption soon.
