The legendary I’m a Celebrity ‘jungle diet’ has already led to some staggering results in 2018.

This year’s cast of ITV’s reality series have supposedly lost a cumulative four stone after a week of basic rations.  It was reported that days of living on rice and beans, mixed with the hot and humid conditions, has led to weight dropping off the campmates.

The source elaborated that "what the celebs are eating is very healthy, from [vegetables] to meat protein and fish...that [are] absorbed quickly by the body."

"The weight loss doesn’t do any permanent damage, and most pile it back on within three weeks, especially in the build-up to Christmas."

It was also reported that Medic Bob encourages campmates to drink at least three litres of water a day in order to remain hydrated, further limiting their food consumption.

Harry Redknapp and Nick Knowles are among the biggest losers of the cast, with actress Emily Atack commenting on her weight loss on Sunday's show, stating she will "have a bit of room" when she returns to the UK to indulge over the festive season.

After a season of trials, tribulations and never ending beans and rice, stuffing one's face during Christmas would be a well earned reward.
