Potterheads, You Can Now Buy a Christmas Tree Topper That Plays "Hedwig's Theme"
Christmas isn't exactly near, but many holiday decorations are already being released. Hallmark recently announced that it will be releasing a Harry Potter collection, and I'm stoked.
The showstopper of the collection is definitely the Hogwarts tree topper. Bonus: It plays the "Hedwig's Theme" song. No mere ornament will be able to compare to that! But wait, there's more—it also lights up in the most alluring way. When I first saw the tree topper in action, I felt a deep sense of nostalgia, as if I were getting ready to binge-watch the Harry Potter series for the millionth time.
Now, there is somewhat of a catch—this tree topper costs $120. But in my opinion it would be money well spent. If you really think about it, it's like the cost of a new pair of running shoes (or what you'd probably spend in HomeGoods, even though you vowed to spend only $60).
Of course, if you're anything like me you won't be able to just buy the tree topper—you're going to end up wanting the other ornaments in the collection. Hallmark has ornaments of your three favorite pals: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger. The individual ornaments also have a special feature—they "perform" your favorite scenes from "Harry Potter the Sorcerer's Stone" via a button-activated "sound and light show." Hallmark has truly outdone itself, and my heart is full.
