So we want to know: Which "positive" stereotypes actually have negative consequences?

Maybe the stereotype that Asians are really smart and good at math was harmful in school. Maybe it felt like you were under so much pressure in college, and when you dropped out, it made you feel like a failure.

Perhaps you hate the stereotype that women are excellent caregivers because it feeds the idea that all women want kids. Perhaps you've expressed the desire to remain child-free with only a fur baby, but your friends, family, and even partners don't believe you and keep saying you'll change your mind.

Maybe you're frustrated by the stereotype that gay men are thought to have great fashion taste. Maybe it sets the standard too high if you're still developing your style or can't afford to dress the way you'd like.
