These Moving Portraits Share Stories From Survivors and First Responders of the Orlando Pulse Shooting

To commemorate the anniversary of the 2016 attack at Pulse Nightclub — where 49 people lost their lives at the hands of a shooter inside what should have been a safe space for the LGBTQ community in Orlando, Florida — an organization has released stunning portraits of survivors and first responders who were at Pulse that night. Each portrait from Dear World comes with a personal story from a survivor or first responder who was at Pulse that night in June 2016.
