Popular Travel Company To Give Away 50 Free Vacations In Honor Of Nurses & Teachers Heroes Month
CheapCaribbean is celebrating our community heroes this month by rewarding 50 nurses and teachers with tropical getaways. The travel company announced on social media on May 7 that entries are open for one of 50 gifted vacations. CheapCaribbean added that the Nurses & Teachers Heroes Month Giveaway was its particular way of celebrating National Nurses Week (May 6-12) and Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6-10).
The sweepstakes’ 50 randomly selected winners will each receive a three-night standard hotel room at any participating RIU Hotels & Resorts location. The vacation destinations are unspecified — but RIU has locations in Punta Cana, Ocho Rios, Paradise Island, and Guanacaste, to name a few.
The travel company estimates that the approximate retail value of an individual winner’s free vacation is $2,000.
An adult guest (over 21 years old) can accompany a winner on their getaway as long as the duo travels “together on the same itinerary.”
All winners are responsible for obtaining travel insurance, and travel dates depend on availability. CheapCaribbean also says grand prize recipients are individually “responsible for all incidentals, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, beverages, gratuities, phone calls, insurance, [and] taxes.” Contest details also specify excluding any other expenses not specifically mentioned.
Who’s Eligible To Enter The Giveaway?
Eligibility to enter CheapCaribbean’s giveaway is exclusive to legal residents of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia. Additionally, they must be 21 years old or older at the time of entry.
Only teachers in the travel company’s Beach4Teach Club or nurses in its ER&R Club can enter the sweepstakes. Those who aren’t already members can sign up for the club most relevant to their profession — then enter the Nurses & Teachers Heroes Giveaway for a chance to win.
According to Beach4Teach and ER&R’s respective web pages, new club members get $150 off their next vacation after signing up. Entries for the Nurses & Teachers Heroes Month Giveaway ends May 20.
