He's been "out-Chadded."

One popular TikToker is having quite an adventure with her favorite band, Nickelback. Kris Collins, otherwise known as @kallmekris, first caught the attention of lead singer Chad Kroeger earlier this week when she posted a video that followed a popular TikTok trend in which someone pretends not to like a person or thing and then quickly shifts gears.

In Collins' example, she seems to be at a party where others are ragging on the band, and she half-heartedly and shamefully agrees. The video then transitioned into a clip of her singing along to one of their songs.

"Just need to know one thing… How many backstage passes do you need to the next show?" the band commented.

"I will travel to the ends of the Earth, to wherever you are to see you," she said in a video response to the comment, in which she also proposed a "Chad Off," as one of her popular characters is also named Chad.

Kroeger accepted the Chad Off and promised Collins that as soon as the band had tour dates, they'd pick a show and get her backstage, but as it turned out, she didn't have to wait that long or travel very far at all. Earlier this week, Collins realized Nickelback was shooting a music video with an open invitation to the public only an hour from where she lives.

Obviously, she needed to crash it. So with her Chad accessories on hand, she hit the road and managed to swing a full access pass for the day, which, naturally, she used for evil. The video ends with Kroeger walking in on Collins sitting with the rest of his band, dressed in her Chad hat and sunglasses. "Oh, this is awkward," she said upon his arrival.

"Uh, this is weird," one of his bandmates said. "Your services are no longer required. Can I please have the sunglasses?"

"So that's it? She's singing," Kroeger said in disbelief. "I'm out."

"Yeah, man, you've been out-Chadded. Give us the glasses."

"You can take my spot in the band," he conceded, "but you will never take my sunglasses."

Collins also shared some fun behind-the-scenes clips earlier today, writing, in part, "I love how invested Chad & the guys were in filming TT's with me." The band clearly has a good sense of humor, and it would be lovely to see more fan interactions like this one in the future!
