Popular Snowboarding YouTuber/Influencer Reveals How He Makes Six Figures

Whether you like his videos or not, there's no denying that snowboarder Jonathan Buckhouse has carved out a significant piece of the winter sports media pie with his very successful YouTube channel.

Buckhouse's 175k YouTube subscribers make his channel one of the most popular winter sports media channels in the world. So, how does he make his money?

Buckhouse reveals the 'secrets' behind his business including information on merchandise sales, ads, sponsors, and his other sources of revenue:

Jonathan Buckhouse: "The purpose of this video is not to flex on anyone! I am making this video to share with people how I turned my dream into a reality in hopes that others can do the same by following my strategies."

It's worth noting that Buckhouse has caught some flak in recent years for calling himself a "professional" snowboarder.

While his skills are certainly better than the average rider, to call himself a professionally-skilled rider is a stretch.

With that said, Buckhouse is paid by brands to ride with their gear. By that definition he's a professional, but the 'influencer' tag is probably more deserved.

Either way, he's living the dream. Not many people get to snowboard for a living.

You might recall when Buckhouse went viral a few seasons ago for his confrontation with snow safety officers at Keystone Resort, Colorado.
