The Popular Pop-Tarts Frosted Red Velvet Cupcake Flavor Will Reportedly Be Back In Stores Soon
There's no greater feeling of heartbreak than when one of your favorite foods gets discontinued. We went through it with the Taco Bell nacho fries, it happened with Dunkaroos, but what they say is true—what's meant to be will always find a way. In the year 2020, we've seen the return of nacho fries and Dunkaroos, and now, Kellogg's Red Velvet Pop-Tarts are reportedly coming back soon as well.
Now, I wouldn't tell you this if I didn't have some receipts. That would be inhumane! So I'm happy to report that @CandyHunting spotted a listing for the Frosted Red Velvet Cupcake-flavored Pop-Tarts on the Meijer grocery store website. A simple internet search confirms this, and the Meijer posting even shows a photo of the package that clearly states "It's Back!" on the upper left corner.
There is no pricing or location information included quite yet, but this does give us some hope that Red Velvet Pop-Tarts will soon be stocked at a grocery store close to home. Meijer grocery stores are exclusive to the Midwest region of the United States for the most part, but this is a clue that the fan favorite Pop-Tart flavor will be back at grocery stores nationwide soon if it's not there already. While you wait to find these toaster pastries at your store, you can indulge in just about any red velvet recipe in the book...a classic cake...some cookies...or maybe even cheesecake bites.
