Popular Arkansas breakfast restaurant The Buttered Biscuit plans Little Rock opening

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Central Arkansas residents will soon have a new restaurant to choose from for morning meals.

A spokesperson for the northwest Arkansas-based The Buttered Biscuit announced on Tuesday that a fifth location will open, the first in central Arkansas. The Little Rock location is set to open May 29 at the Promenade on Chenal, 17815 Chenal Parkway, suite F101.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends. Breakfast, brunch and lunch will be served.

The focus of The Buttered Biscuit is on handcrafted, from-scratch cooking with a commitment to quality. Customer favorites include biscuits and gravy, Avocado Grove Toast, Kickin’ Chicken Waffles, Lila Lemon Cakes, Countryman Bowl and gluten-free options.

“We’re so excited to share our passion for food and hospitality with west Little Rock soon,” The Buttered Biscuit cofounder Anna Russell said. “This store’s design and atmosphere is one of a kind, and we can’t wait to see the community begin filling up its tables in just a few weeks.”

A company spokesperson said a second location for The Buttered Biscuit will open in the Heights later this year.
