Our hearts and stomachs are so full. In honor of National Biscuit Day (which is a real, very important holiday) Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is baking its beloved buttermilk biscuits in the shape of hearts-for one day and one day only.

According to the southern-style fried chicken joint, they sold 292 million of the fan favorite menu item last year alone. That translates to 12 biscuits per second. Now Popeyes wants to show customers the same love they've been shown. The limited-edition "Love That" biscuits will be available April 14.

"For more than 40 years, our biscuits have been celebrated as a very beloved menu item," head chef Amy Alarcon said in a statement. "With our buttermilk biscuits at the heart of our menu, it only made sense to celebrate with heart-shaped biscuits on National Biscuit Day."

I have good and bad news. It's actually the same news, it'll just evoke different emotions depending on your geographic location. The "Love That" biscuits-which come with any regular meal, combos, or platter-are only available while supplies last at participating locations in Chicago, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and New York.

In March, the brand celebrated Mardi Gras with its own unique promotion: A "Beadbox" necklace to hold your fried chicken. The New Orleans exclusive was available at the Canal Street Popeyes' location for customers ordering three a piece chicken tender meal, side, and biscuit for $6, or two-piece bone-in chicken, side, and biscuit for $5. Popeyes has got quite the marketing strategy.
