Pop-Tarts Has 3 New Flavors That Have Us Drooling for Summer Pastries
Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts is really diving into summer flavors, and we’re not just talking about the new pink lemonade flavor. There are an addition three, yes three, new flavors that have warm-weather written all over them. Soon you’ll be able to get your hands on the Peach Cobbler, Lemon Crème Pie, and Tropical Mango pastries.
Just based off of the names of the flavors, you know exactly what you’re getting with each. The Peach Cobbler has orange filling and orange frosting, the Lemon Crème Pie has yellow filling and yellow frosting, and the Tropical Mango has yellow filling with orange specks and a light yellow frosting drizzle. They were each designed to taste like their respective desserts or fruit, so now it’s just up to you if you prefer peach, lemon, or mango flavors.
As with any Pop-Tarts, these three new varieties each come in a box of eight pastries. The packaging on the Peach Cobbler and Lemon Crème Pie ones indicate that they’re “new!” The Tropical Mango does the same by noting it’s “¡nuevo!” One question that we can’t help but to wonder is if these three flavors will be sticking around, or we should only expect to find them in honor of warmer weather. Stay tuned on that.
While Kellogg’s hasn’t officially announced the new flavors, Meijer has listed each of them on its website for $2.19. It’s totally up to you if you want to eat the Pop-Tarts straight out of the wrapping or heat them up — but if you ask us, we think popping the Peach Cobbler pastries in the toaster and topping them with vanilla ice cream is the way to go.
