Poll: It is time for lobster rolls: Vote for your favorite place to get one.

Cape Cod Buy Fresh Buy Local says, in its Fish Season-by-Season chart, that we can expect fresh lobster from mid-April to the end of November.

OK, folks, time to get on the roll. Lobster roll, that is.

I don’t deny that this treasure of the sea often comes at a princely sum, but I don’t mind bringing PB&J for lunch four days a week in order to spend $20 to $40 or more on a lobster roll for that fifth day.

After all, one cannot cannot live by peanut butter and jelly alone.

We have conducted at least one other poll of favorite lobster rolls (read about top-scorer Sesuit Harbor Cafe), so this year we started fresh and asked members of the Cape Cod Times’ free Facebook group for their favorites.

There were some new suggestions and some favorites of the past re-emerged so we’ll see if they once again make the crack (rather than cut) as top crustacean. We added a few of our own to round out the list.

Lobster rolls are found in dozens of places on Cape Cod. Where is your favorite?
