Police Outreach Dog Who Went Viral for Being a Swiftie Is Living Her Best Life

On July 22 in Normal, Illinois the TikTok account for The Illinois State University Police Department posted another absolutely delightful video of everyone's favorite Taylor Swift fan and therapy dog, Pawfficer Sage.
Judging from this video posted by @Isupolice, ever since Pawfficer Sage went viral for her video rendition of Taylor Swift's Our Song (Featuring her um.. rather attractive handler according to the comments) she's been in her celebrity era ever since!

There's just too much to unpack here and we can't decide what our favorite part is. The sunglasses? The boa? Knowing that this adorable therapy dog shares our adoration of Taylor Swift? So many things!
TikTok users agree and @Sammy comments, "Happy to know that Pawfficer Sage is a Swiftie!" Another person says, "I’m stalking this page now, no regrets." @KS replies, "Love the boa!"
On July 26, Sage celebrated a milestone and the university posted this sweet message on Facebook. "Happy Adoptiversary to our very favorite Pawfficer! 4 years ago, ISUPD adopted Sage as a therapy dog for the university. Since then, she’s attended thousands of events, made tens of thousands of friends, and inspired more than half a dozen police departments to begin their own K-9 therapy program. We love you, Pawfficer Sage!"
Outreach therapy dogs like Sage help students reduce stress and anxiety levels, as well as promote positive social interactions. The benefits of using therapy dogs to improve mood, performance and quality of life for students at school are numerous. Especially during stressful times of the year like finals week!
