Police K9 Dog's Spot-On Siren Impression Is Cracking Everyone Up

Police K9s are brave, incredibly intelligent, well-trained and loyal. They are also, well, dogs, and any dog owner can tell you on occasion our dogs are absolute and total goofballs.

Just check out the hilarious video posted by TikTok user @Patriottac of what happens when his police K9 Raymond hears a firetruck. This is just too funny.

He's howling along with the firetruck! TikTok users can't get over this dog with his own built-in siren. @Lindac comments, "Raymond has been hearing tooooo many sirens..he's got it down pat." @Ness replies, "See if your siren doesn’t work, just open your window and Raymond can be the siren for you. I love it." @Ohwow adds, "Ours do this with all sirens, including the tornado siren, first Saturday of the month at noon." @Nola responds, "If I hear that siren I'm running for a "puppy face" hug. Seriously that pup obviously takes work to the next level. Thank you "Sir Siren." LOL, we think Raymond may have a new nickname!

If you're not a huge fan of your dog howling, there are ways you can train them not to engage in this behavior whether they hear a firetruck, a tornado siren, or someone singing happy birthday. According to the ASPCA, you can teach your dog to be quiet when you ask him to. First, say “Speak!” and try to get your dog to bark or howl. (Knocking on a wall or door usually works well.) Praise your dog when he starts making noise—but DO NOT give him a treat or toy. Then say “Hush” or “Quiet.” The moment your dog stops barking or howling for a second or two, quickly say “Good!” and give him a treat.

Or you can just enjoy the dulcet tones of your dog singing along to sirens or whatever else makes them howl. Sometimes, it's just too funny to stop it!
