Pokémon x Santa Cruz Decks Are Reaching Record Resale Prices
On September 13, 2023, Santa Cruz Skateboards dropped their exclusive and Santa Cruz x Pokémon line. The featured Pokémon decks were called Bling Bags, each one contained a random 8” assorted variant board with an iconic Pokémon character blasted on it; similar to og trading cards.
There were 15 holo foil variants with different characters printed on silver foil in the mix along with five special character gold foil editions tossed in there. Check the original product post below to get a glimpse of the decks.
This limited edition Santa Cruz x Pokémon line sold out in a matter of seconds, with a cap of 5 decks per person’s order. The quick sell out made the resale market for these decks spike instantly.
Shortly after the release and sell out, resale websites like eBay, were hit with a plethora of the decks marked much higher than the $110 they were originally sold for.
The highest listed price so far is $20,000, with most the others ranging from $550 to $6,000.
